The Photographic Alliance of Great Britain

Awards for Photographic Merit

The Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB) represents all the photographic societies around the country, and have a series of Merit awards that recognises photographic achievement by its members. The assessment days move around Britain and having entered a panel of 10 prints to the PAGB for adjudication I was informed that my entry would be assessed on 22nd April 2013 in Birmingham.

I travelled down to Birmingham to experience the judging and to view, not only the other images that were entered, but the standard required for the awards. I was really delighted when I found out that not only had I achieved my aim of 'Credit of the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain' (CPAGB), and I am now entitled to use those letters after my name, but that all ten of my prints either achieved or were higher than the pass mark that was necessary.
